Following a Supreme Court ruling rejecting most emergency-based tariff measures, US President Trump announced a temporary 10% global tariff under a different legal basis, later stating it would rise to 15 percent “immediately.”
However, the White House confirmed the current rate remains at 10%, with preparations underway for a separate executive order to raise it to 15%.
