The measure, introduced by Democrats, passed 219 to 211, with support from 6 Republicans. The vote was largely symbolic, as undoing President Trump's tariff policy would require Senate approval and the President's signature.
Even if the Senate supported the bill, it could still be vetoed by President Trump, and it's unlikely that Congress could secure the two-thirds majority needed to override his vote.
