Her statement followed Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s statement earlier the same day that Iran can immediately abandon the nuclear deal concluded in 2015 with the P5+1 group if the US continues to impose sanctions on Tehran.

 Haley said the nuclear deal with Iran “must not become too big to fail and Iran should not use it to hold the world hostage.

She plans to visit the International Atomic Energy Agency next week to discuss Iran’s nuclear activities.
