Media reported on Wednesday that Clinton won 307 of California’s 550 delegates, while her rival, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, won only 155. Clinton now has 2,740 pledged and unpledged delegates, far ahead of Sanders’ 1,840 delegates. However, Sanders has vowed to continue his campaign to fight hard to win the next Tuesday’s primary in Washington DC, the last Democratic primary.
Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump claimed victories in all 5 remaining primaries on the “Last Super Tuesday” and wrapped up his primary campaign. Trump has secured enough delegates to clinch the GOP nomination.
