(VOVworld) - Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump won their Florida primaries on the 2nd Super Tuesday. Clinton won the Democratic primary with 65% of the vote, doubling Senator Bernie Sanders’ 33%. Trump won the Republican primary with 45.7% of the vote. Marco Rubio finished second in his home state with 27.5% of the vote, which persuaded him to drop out of the presidential race.

Mrs. Clinton continued her domination, winning a third consecutive primary in Ohio on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Republican candidate John Kasich, the Ohio governor, won his first primary victory in his home state.
