This donation includes 38 rapid diagnostic machines with 90,000 compatible test kits and 10 digital X-ray devices that will be distributed to district-level health facilities across the country, including remote provinces.

USAID Vietnam Director Ann Marie Yastishock said the Agency is currently supporting the integration of TB screening into the Government of Vietnam's COVID-19 vaccination campaigns.

USAID will continue to help introduce new, highly effective TB technologies and drugs into Vietnam as part of the continuing partnership and solidarity between the United States and Vietnam, she said.
