Speaking on Sunday during a visit to Israel, Blinken stated that the position of President Biden and the White House is that President Putin does not have the right to launch a special military operation in Ukraine or any other country.
At a summit with NATO allies and the European Union (EU), President Biden criticized President Putin and said the Russian leader "can’t remain in power".
Relations between Russia and the West have fallen to a low point. Analysts believe NATO's strengthening of security on its eastern flank is the root cause of the outbreak of tensions between the West and Russia, leading to Russia's deployment of a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24.
