The delegation of 50 US companies is visiting Vietnam until Thursday. This is the first visit of a large US business delegation to Vietnam since the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. They are operating in technology, energy, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, agriculture, food, financial services, healthcare, and investment funds. The group includes Meta, AIS, Exim Bank, and Chubb.

Sarah said, "Vietnam is United States' 9th largest partner and our number 1 trading partner in ASEAN. A collective participation of senior businesses and US government officials reflect the shared optimism and ever growing importance of our bilateral relationship which is upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership during President Joe Biden’s visit to Vietnam in September."
"As we continue to address the legacy of the past, we now have the opportunity to fully realize the vision of a newly established comprehensive strategic partnership between our nations," she added.
Ted Osius, president and CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council, said Vietnam's recent success in attracting foreign investment and reforming its economic and trade policies appeals to US businesses.
Josep Frank Uldo, Chairman of the AIS Group, emphasized the importance of establishing trust. He said that AIS has been in the market for many years, adding "we see a tremendous opportunity here in Vietnam simply based on the growth. We are here because Vietnam’s young workforce, acquisitive and hardworking and hospitable people so it’s wonderful to be here."
