During a reception for the Ambassador hosted by Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thai Binh in Hanoi on Wednesday, Ambassador Osius said that thanks to discussions, he better understands the two laws and new regulations in the draft versions. Minister Binh said his agency is in charge of writing the two draft laws to ensure the rights and interests of citizens, associations, and religious organizations in Vietnam. Binh said feedback on the two draft laws from the public, religious organizations, and associations, is being collected. Ambassador Osius pledged to do his best during his tenure in Vietnam to support Vietnam’s efforts to refine these two laws.
