The revised Draft Electricity Law is set to be completed and submitted to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the Assembly’s 8th session.
The bill is developed on six major policies: Planning and investment in electricity development; developing renewable energy; the electronic market; licensing electricity activities; operating the power system; and electricity safety, dam safety, hydroelectric reservoirs.
The revision is made consistent with the development trend of the energy industry in Vietnam.
