Houthi’s media reported that the attacks reportedly hit a market in the Furwah neighborhood of the Shuub district, an area previously targeted by American forces, but didn’t give any more details.
The US military began to launch a large-scale airstrike campaign on Yemen on March 15, a couple of days after designating the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Among the airstrikes, the attack on the Ras Isa oil port last week claimed the lives of 74 deaths and leaving 171 others injured. This was considered the deadliest airstrike by the US in Yemen in over a year.
