The program was directed by the Central Military Commission and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army as the lead organizers in coordination with localities.

The program recreated glorious historical milestones including the August Revolution, National Day on September 2, 1945, Hanoi’s 60 days and nights resisting the French colonialists, Hanoi liberation Day, the anti-US war, the scene of Hanoi in 1972, and the liberation of the South. There were stories of soldiers willing to sacrifice their lives for national liberation, and of wives and mothers who waited for husbands and sons who never returned from the front.

The program aimed to evoke national pride, revolutionary ideals, and to inspire faith, responsibility, and dedication among today’s younger generations.
