(VOVworld) – Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Arseny Yatseniuk, announced his resignation in a televised address on Sunday.

Yatseniuk said he will submit a letter of resignation to the parliament on Tuesday. President Petro Poroshenko asked him to quit in February, saying the Ukrainian people have lost trust in his anti-corruption fight and efforts to restore the worsening economy. President Poroshenko suggested forming a new government.
