Lawmakers in Britain's lower house voted 327 to 299 in favor of the bill, which now will go to Parliament's upper chamber for approval. The bill requests that the government ask for a Brexit delay until the end of next January if no new Brexit deal is agreed before the EU summit in October.
Prime Minister Johnson said this means the UK has ended its negotiations with the EU and has given the EU complete the control. He renewed his request for an election on October 15 and said his position is unchanged and the UK will leave the EU at the end of October in any case.
