Head coach Park Hang Seo made the remark at the departure ceremony organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on Friday in Hanoi. He said the team  U23 Vietnam will have to compete with South Korea, Syria, and Australia at tournament. The national squad has been highly concentrated on practice, come up with suitable strategies, and is ready to enter the tournament.

The 2018 AFC U23 Championship will take place from January 9-27 in China. 16 male football teams under 23 are taking part in the most important football league of Asia.
