Healthcare workers in Hai Duong province, the epicentre of Vietnam's latest coronavirus outbreak, have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The latest patients are in Hai Duong province, the epicenter of the third COVID-19 wave in Vietnam, and had been quarantined previously.

More than 2,000 patients have recovered and 35 have died.

More than 44,000 people who had close contact with COVID-19 patients or arrived from pandemic-affected areas are being quarantined nationwide.
