The 25-year-old hotel receptionist in Nha Trang city is discharged from the Hospital of Tropical Diseases in the central province of Khanh Hoa on February 4, 2020.

A 25-year-old hotel receptionist in Nha Trang city was discharged from the Hospital of Tropical Diseases in the central province of Khanh Hoa on Tuesday afternoon after three of the latest tests found her negative for the virus.

The same day, one of the two Chinese nationals who became the first cases of infection in Vietnam was released from the Cho Ray hospital in HCM city. The 28-year-old had tested negative for the virus four times after 13 days of treatment. But he wants to stay at the hospital to take care of his father, who was also infected and is still under treatment.

Meanwhile, one more person from Vietnam’s northern province of Vinh Phuc has tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to ten, according to the Ministry of Health.

The 42-year-old female patient is receiving treatment at the quarantine area of Binh Xuyen district’s medical centre, and is in a stable condition, the ministry said on Tuesday.

She was among people who had close contact with the male patient who tested positive for the virus earlier in Vinh Phuc.
