Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan reviewed the historical event 70 years ago and called on the young generation to boost the patriotic emulation movement.

Mr. Nhan said: “Young people should pioneer the patriotic emulation movement. We do hope that you will meet the Fatherland’s and society’s expectations.”

The event featured films about President Ho Chi Minh and the emulation movement, and an exchange with role models in national construction and defense.
