Walmart's contribution to the deal was described as a "commercial partnership" with TikTok, who said it will bring 25,000 additional jobs across the US.

The security will be 100%, Mr. Trump said, adding that it's a great deal for America. 

Oracle, Walmart, and TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance confirmed the information.

Tiktok’s representatives hoped that the deal will resolve the security concerns of the US Administration and settle questions around TikTok’s future in the US. 

TikTok has about 100 million monthly active users in the US.
