Chairman Hue praised the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary which has continuously developed over the years.
Vietnam and Hungary established a comprehensive partnership in September, 2018, on the occasion of a visit to Hungary by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and have potential in many fields, including trade and investment, agriculture, healthcare, tourism, and labour.
The two parliament leaders agreed there should be closer cooperation in agriculture. Hungary has strong supply chains from growing to processing to marketing and distribution. There is still ample room for cooperation, they said agreeing that the Vietnamese NA Chairman’s visit will boost the Vietnam-Hungary comprehensive partnership, of which the ties between the two parliaments are an important pillar.
Mr Jakab said despite world and regional problems, Hungary is ready to share its development experience with Vietnam given the long friendship and cooperation between them.
