(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented Tourism Awards to outstanding Vietnamese travel operators in Hanoi on Friday. In his address at the award ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh said that over the past 15 year,s this award has become a honorable distinction and pride of travel agencies and tourism service providers: “In the context of rapid international integration, the tourism sector needs to focus on improving the effectiveness, quality, trade marks and competitiveness of tourist products and services. It is necessary to focus on upgrading tourist infrastructure and accommodation. We also need to diversify and improve the quality of tourist products, strengthen tourist promotional activities, develop tourism trade marks, boost human resource training activities and increase connectivity in tourism development”.

Vietnam Tourism Awards were presented to 30 hotels, travel operators, restaurants, and shops.
