Addressing a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Monday, Madam Ngan asked localities nationwide to test the 350,000 people who have recently arrived in Vietnam to determine who is in the incubation period and who has had contact with them.
“I’m calling on people nationwide to follow the Vietnamese tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and mutual affection and help the government carry out all Covid-19 preventive measures. Each person is a soldier, each family is a bulwark against the disease,” she said.
Delivering a report on Covid-19 prevention and control, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam underlined the importance of involving everyone and winning their trust in the Party and Government’s leadership.
During the 3-day meeting, full-time lawmakers will debate some draft laws and key political, social and economic matters.
