The visit reaffirms Vietnam’s consistent policy of giving top priority to and attaching great importance to developing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.

Both sides will discuss orientations and specific measures to further improve cooperation, regional strategic issues of mutual concerns, and exchanges of experiences in post-pandemic recovery and socio-economic development.

On this occasion, the Pasaxon (People’s) newspaper, the organ of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, front-paged an editorial highlight the deepening Laos-Vietname relationship.

The newspaper wrote the visit is an opportunity for the two to inherit, cultivate, and develop their great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.
