He urged Boeing to continue collaborating with Vietnamese partners to fulfill standing aircraft orders and invest in component factories and a maintenance center in Vietnam. The leader also called for stronger cooperation in training, research, and technology transfer to help Vietnamese partners become more involved in Boeing's supply chain.

Mr. Nelson applauded Mr. Lam’s vision of the aviation industry's role in Vietnam's socio-economic development. He said Boeing wants to support Vietnam’s aviation ecosystem, focusing on infrastructure development, workforce training, airport construction, and aircraft repair and maintenance.
