Throughout the process of  post-war reconstruction and international integration, Vietnam has always had the companionship of and assistance from the UN, he noted. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the UN promptly supported Vietnam, especially with vaccines, helping the country defeat the virus and restore its economy quickly.

After his trip to the US, Party leader and President To Lam will pay a State visit to Cuba at the invitation of the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Relations Commission, Le Hoai Trung, said that the visit demonstrates the willingness of the Party and State of Vietnam and the Party and State of Cuba to continue strengthening mutual understanding and coordination in international issues.
