In Lonely Planet's just-released publication titled “Best Beaches: 100 of the World’s Most Incredible Beaches” in 2024, the voting categorizes beautiful beaches worldwide into regions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South and North America, and Oceania.

Ti Top beach is among the 14 Asian beaches in the Lonely Planet top 100.

Located on Ti Top Island, Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province, Ti Top was named after Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov, after he visited the island in 1962.

Nestled 7 to 8 kilometers southeast of Bai Chay tourist area, the island can be accessed by cruise ship and waterplane.
