Mr. Thuong stressed that Vietnam looks forwards to welcoming the US President soon.

He urged the two countries to promote the exchange of delegations and contacts at all levels to deepen their relationship.

Ambassador Knapper said President Joe Biden is delighted with the March telephone conversation with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

He reiterated that the US will continue cooperating with Vietnam in addressing the consequences of war including Agent Orange/Dioxin and MIA issues.
