Tran Manh Long in Kon Tum province studied the query addressed to Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and said Mr. Phuc had clear, frank, comprehensive, and persuasive answers especially when he talked about measures to protect national territorial integrity. Long said: "Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc clearly explained major issues relating to economics, politics, culture, society, and national defense. I agree with the government’s resolution to deal with China’s illegal placing of oil rig Haiyang 981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. I back the government’s measures including strengthening the marine law enforcement force and calling for international support. I appreciate the government’s prompt and effective actions.
Le Nhu Tien, a deputy of Quang Tri province, said: "It was the true sense of a Q&A session. We make questions not to get information but to clarify the responsibility of the officials elected or approved by the National Assembly."
