Ms. Yingluck said she was ready to cooperate with the Committee to get to the truth. The Prime Minister said that the NACC should not issue hasty decisions when similar accusations against the previous administrations were still under investigation. The NACC will summon Ms. Yingluck to a hearing on February 27.
On Thursday, about 500 anti-government demonstrators gathered outside the offices of the SC Asset group belonging to the Shinawatra family and asked people to boycott SC Asset products.
Meanwhile Red-shirt demonstrators, who support Prime Minister Yingluck, have a demonstration planned in Korat, northwest of Bangkok, on February 24.
