Chalerm Yubamrung, director of the CMPO said at a press conference held Sunday in Bangkok that police will be deployed starting Monday to reclaim Orathai bridge, Chamaimaruchet bridge, Suan Miksakawan intersection, Ratchadamnoen Avenue, and Chaeng Wattana Road. If there is resistance by armed protesters, the police might have to use guns to protect themselves. Meanwhile, talks between police and protesters’ leader Luang Pu Budda Issara on Sunday afternoon ended without any agreement on reopening Government buildings and main routes in Bangkok which have been besieged by protestors for the last few months.
