(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh presented Vietnam’s Friendship Order to outgoing Thai ambassador Anuson Chinvanno on Wednesday in Hanoi.

Minh spoke highly of Chinvanno’s contributions to developing the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand over the years, especially after the two countries established a strategic partnership in June. T
he Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief that the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership will further develop in the interests of the two peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the rest of the world. Minh also proposed that Vietnam and Thailand work closely with other ASEAN members to consolidate the group’s solidarity and make ASEAN an active contributor to the region’s peace and stability.
