(VOVWORLD) - At least 6 civilians, including 3 children, were killed and 29 injured after a bomb went off in Afrin town, Syria on Saturday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rightsreported, adding that casualties may increase.

Turkish Anadolu news agency said no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, butassessed that the attack was conducted by YPG/PKK terrorists, which were listed as terrorist by Ankara and expelled from the region in March 2018, when the town was liberated by the Turkish military and allied Syrian National Army (SNA) fighters.
