(VOVworld) - Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has taken a decision to declare March 14 a day of mourning in memory of those killed in the fire at the Admiral shopping center in Kazan on March 11. (VOVworld) - Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has taken a decision to declare March 14 a day of mourning in memory of those killed in the fire at the Admiral shopping center in Kazan on March 11. This day the national flags will be lowered, entertainment events will be canceled.  Regional TV channels will change their program schedule. Tatarstan Emergencies Ministry Press Secretary Andrei Rodygin said that 16 people were killed by the fire and about 18 others are still under the collapse of the building.

Admiral shopping center has more than 1200 stores including many owned by Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia has immediately worked with relevant agencies to help Vietnamese people trading at Admiral shopping center. No Vietnamese people was killed, only two suffered minor injuries in the fire.
