The statement was released by 100 countries including the US, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, France, Spain, the EU and NATO, but the list did not include China and Russia.
On Sunday, Acting Minister of Information and Culture and Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid announced that the armed Islamist force would complete the list of new government within the next two weeks.
In recent days, the Taliban have appointed a series of positions in the new government: acting minister of higher education, acting director of the Afghan National Olympic Committee, acting minister of information and culture, public affairs, education, plus mayors of some cities and governors of most provinces.
