(VOVworld) - The Syrian government on Saturday approved a plan on restoring services, industry, and security in the war-torn northern city of Aleppo.

The plan includes supply of water, electricity, and fuel for local people. The government also approved an emergency plan submitted by the Education Ministry on repairing 50 damaged schools within six months. In the health sector, the plan involves the rehabilitation of 5 health centers and 2 hospitals while transport plan involves reactivating 18km of railway and upgrading the Aleppo International Airport. The plan calls for relaunching the industrial sector in Aleppo, which was one of Syria’s trade and industrial centers before war.
