The Ministry issued a statement saying the US has systematically massacred Syrian civilians in a flagrant violation of international law. Syria was referring to several incidents in which civilian casualties were caused by coalition airstrikes.  The statement said the US has used white phosphorus in its attacks on civilians in the northern city of Raqqa. The condemnation came one day after US-led airstrikes killed 43 civilians in several areas of Raqqa.
