An unverified source said that government troops, supported by tanks and helicopters, have forced opposition forces out of their headquarters in southern Damascus. Eye witnesses say that the fighting continued unabatedly in the hot spots of Aleppo and Daraa. Opposition forces claimed they have taken control of an intelligence center and check-point in Albu Kamal province near the Iraqi border. However, the government has control of almost all the province.
