In a recent interview in Switzerland, she expressed hope that the Congress will adopt breakthrough, long-term, and highly feasible policies to realize Vietnam’s aspiration of becoming a strong and prosperous nation by 2045.
She highlighted expectations for decisions that promote a new growth model based on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. This, she noted, requires robust institutional reforms, expanded policy experimentation, stronger private sector development, and the emergence of leading enterprises with regional and global competitiveness.
The 14th Party Congress is also expected to further define a strategy for sustainable and resilient development, linking economic growth with environmental protection, energy transition, climate change adaptation, and social security.
SVEF hopes the Congress will continue to advance Vietnam’s independent, self-reliant foreign policy and deep international integration, enhance the quality of international cooperation, and effectively leverage strategic partnerships, paving the way for Vietnam to become a high-income, developed country with growing international stature by 2045.
