The storm made landfall in Ha Tinh province on Friday, causing heavy rains, strong winds. The typhoon also blew off the roofs of more than 24 thousand homes and schools.

The National Steering Committee has asked provinces and cities to continue to closely monitor the circulation of the storm and to identifying damage and mobilize forces to restore electricity and communications networks, helping residents repair their homes.
