The trip delivered an important message to the international community, particularly Latin American and Caribbean countries, about Vietnam's consistent foreign policy of fostering ties with traditionally friendly nations, including Chile and Peru, Deputy PM Son said.

The visits demonstrated the bright prospects for relations between Vietnam and the two countries, which will create favorable conditions for Vietnam to expand cooperation with other Latin American states, according to Mr. Son.

President Luong Cuong’s attendance at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week reaffirmed Vietnam's commitment to APEC cooperation and its readiness to contribute further to peace, collaboration, and development in the Asia-Pacific and the world. Vietnam's hosting of APEC 2027 is testament to this commitment, Deputy PM Son noted.

The President’s remarks at the event once again conveyed a strong message about a dynamic and innovative Vietnam, which is entering an era of rise and is emerging as a leading destination for international investors, according to Mr. Son.
