(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh City’s annual spring flower festival opened at Tao Dan Park on Sunday to welcome Tet, the Lunar New Year festival.

4,000 orchid arrangements, ceramic flowers, aquarium bonsai, and yellow apricot blossoms are on display. Many of the arrangements depict a rooster, the zodiac sign for 2017. The festival will feature a flower arrangement competition, art programs, lion dances, tea ceremonies, and a calligraphy demonstration.

Hundreds of flower markets have been set up in Ho Chi Minh city.
