At the ceremony, King Filipe praised developments in Vietnam-Spain cooperation and expressed his admiration of Vietnam’s success in containing the Covid-19 pandemic. He expects that both countries will enhance cooperation in responding to the pandemic.

Ambassador Hai said, as Chairman of ASEAN and a non-permanent member of the UNSC, Vietnam wants to work closely with the international community, including Spain, to share information, mobilize resources, and study vaccines for the fight against Covid-19. He also expressed the desire to resume global trade, and demand and supply chains.
