(VOVworld) – On Friday, South Korean Unificaiton Minister Hong Yong-pyo said the Korean government will not consider closing the joint Kaesong industrial complex or its citizens to work here following North Korea’s nuclear test early this month.
Minister Hong said the Korean government is trying to ensure stable operations of the complex in the north but it will depend on North Korea. He said that South Korea will pursue President Park Geun-hye’s inter-Korean policy of trust building o the Korean peninsula. Minister Hong said the Korean government will strongly respond to North Korea’s provocative acts while trying to apply a principle approach.
