(VOV) - Vo Huy Cuong, Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, met with Vuwani Ndwamato, Director of the South African Department of Air Transport in Pretoria on Thursday. They discussed measures to promote civil aviation cooperation and signed a memorandum of understanding. Under the MoU, the two sides agreed on the final content of the Draft Agreement on Air Transport pledging to submit it to their governments for approval as soon as possible. The 22-article Agreement regulates the duties and responsibilities of the two countries within their laws and with regard to the International Convention on Civil Aviation regarding transport right, air security, flight frequency, taxes, fees and payment methods.
