Social distancing imposed in Hai Duong as COVID-19 spreads

(VOVWORLD) -Hai Duong province on Monday decided to impose social distancing measures in the entire locality from 0 hour on Tuesday (the 5th day of Lunar New Year holiday).

The measures are in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Directive 16 on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.

As of Monday, Hai Duong recorded 499 cases of COVID-19. Since the epidemic broke out Chi Linh city 19 days ago, it has spread to 11 of the total 12 districts, towns and cities of Hai Duong. 55 patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital.
