During their stay, crew members will pay courtesy visits to leaders of the city’s People’s Committee, and the High Commands of Military Zone 5 and Naval Zone 3. They will join the Vietnamese navy in a search and rescue at sea exercise, using international flag signals, lights, and radios, shares sports’ activities with the Vietnamese navy, and visit local sights.
The visit is expected to boost friendship between the two nations and the two military forces who signed a strategic partnership last September.
