(VOVworld) – More than 50 materials, photos, and artifacts are on display in Da Nang city at an exhibition titled “Hoang Sa archipelago is of Vietnam’s sovereignty”. A number of artifacts were made public for the first time. The exhibition aims to raise people’s awareness of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago. Dang Cong Ngu, chairman of Hoang Sa island district’s People’s Committee, said: "What we are doing is continuing the work started in the Nguyen dynasty in the 19th century. We aim to raise people’s knowledge, especially that of young people about Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa archipelago. This year we tried to improve the propaganda work to educate young Vietnamese about our country’s sea and island territories."
