(VOVworld) – A forum to share experiences of the 2012 London Olympics organization opened in Hanoi on Wednesday. The forum co-hosted by the Vietnam Olympics Committee under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the embassy of the United Kingdom was a good opportunity for Vietnam to learn from the UK about organizing the 18th Asian Games (ASIAD 2019). During the event, the UK embassy shared their experiences in designing stadiums and infrastructure. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Olympics Committee Hoang Vinh Giang underlined Vietnam’s preparations for the Asian Games, including infrastructure, transport, stadiums, and expertise. The ASIAD 2019 will take place in November 2019 and involve 12,000 athletes from 45 countries and territories.
