The two sides will try to boost cooperation in culture, education, sports, science-technology and medicine. The dialogue ways the groundwork for the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the US in September. The seventh China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue is being co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and State Councilor Yang Jiechi, special representatives of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and US Secretary of State John Kerry and Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew on behalf of US President Barack Obama.
