(VOVworld) – A seminar was held in Hanoi on Tuesday to collect opinions for the establishment of a national project to support the development of an ecosystem for technology entrepreneurs and start-ups in Vietnam. Nguyen Hoang Hai is deputy head of the Technology Application and Development Department under the Ministry of Science and Technology: "Scientific and technological innovations are just one of 7 factors of innovative start-up businesses. A start-up business can inherit and decode imported technological equipment to develop its own products in Vietnam and in Southeast Asia."
Delegates agreed that it’s important to boost international cooperation, create favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to operate in Vietnam, and support Vietnamese businesses’ participation in international incubation programs.
